Codelet is a small daily logic game by Neil / bzwrd. One notebook, three different digits, and a set of clues that leads to one answer.
The first daily puzzle was on 7 September 2026. The game is free to play and needs no account. Each UTC date has the same puzzle for everyone.
Saved in your browser
Your browser saves your past results, name, and choice about posting future scores. Each browser keeps its own copy. You do not need an email address or password.
The person icon opens Your name. You can save a nickname without starting a game or joining the leaderboard. Clearing site data or ending a private browsing session can remove your local progress and name.
Server-timed games
A browser cookie holds a random token for your ranked games. The server saves a hash of that token, the date, your guesses, start and finish times, and any name you post.
This lets the server check answers, limit guesses, and keep your timer after a refresh. Past puzzles and unranked games save your progress in the browser instead.
Your public name and score
You can play without a name. If you join the board, other players can see your chosen name, rank, time, and guess count. They cannot see your guessed digits.
You can turn off Automatically post my future solves in name settings. On a posted result, Remove my name hides that score from the public board. The server keeps the run record, so removing a name does not restart the game.
This is a friendly game, not a contest for prizes. The site does not check who each player is.
Sharing a result
Your browser makes the result image. It shows your score and saved name, if you have one. It does not show the answer, clues, or guessed digits.
The game does not upload this image to an image-hosting service. If you share it through another app, that app handles the image under its own terms.
Hosting and analytics
Cloudflare hosts the site and checks ranked games. It receives web requests so it can send pages and record ranked guesses.
We use Plausible to count page views. The game does not send your name, guesses, or scores as extra tracking events. Shared links can include the puzzle date, but do not include your name.
